Introducing Rescue hound Marlow (formerly identifying as Arlo)

Introducing Rescue hound Marlow (formerly identifying as Arlo)

We were approached by a friend of a friend to assist with rehoming a stunning border collie. We had someone in mind who we knew would love "Arlo". And boy did Scarlett love him. Their little dog Winston loved him a little too much. We tried the slow introduction and mini visits (office supervisor photo) and even a couple of sleepovers, but it just didn't work out for everyone - which it needs to. Not all rescues can do what we did, we were just lucky to be able to try and make the match work.

So Brad and I discussed keeping Arlo as a brother to Maximus and here we are. (When I say discussed that means Brad came home from work to 3 dogs!)

So it seems to be the HHH "thing"! HHH are a 2 fosters for 2 fails! Proud to be perfect.

A bit about Arlo who is now Marlow. Marlow is turning 5 in April (he's no April fool despite his birth date). He is originally from the NW, moved to Launceston as a puppy and has a few brothers around the place. One named Tiny, who's parents were at the community fundraiser at the hall - amazed they picked the brother to their dog across the room from how he was behaving (perfectly of course!) and his looks which are so handsome!

Marlow is now the resident hound in the boutique - he definitely knows how to get the customers in - we might start a gold coin donation jar for pats!

He is making friends and loves to have sleep overs - he has a weekly sleep over at one of our volunteers places - and loves his photo taken!

Sleepovers seem to be his thing!
